It is excellent in leak detection, steam trap inspection, and electrical inspection.

Flexible Sensor
|
Accurate detection of airborne ultrasounds is easier with the 21" or 32" flexible sensor. Hard to find leaks in complex pipe work are revealed quickly with this super sensitive sensor as its flexible design can be bent and shaped to fit your specific job.

Extended Distance Sensor (EDS)
|
Not all airborne ultrasound are easily detectable when distances separate the inspector from the source. Many facilities locate their distribution lines in the ceilings 50-100’ from the plant floor making leak inspection impossible without scissor lifts, or ladder climbing. The Extended Distance Sensor combines design and function to overcome the problem of distance.

10" Parabolic Dish with Visible Laser Sight
|
The Parabolic Dish with Laser sighting increases the range of detection of the Ultrawave 170 to 250 feet and beyond. A recalculation of the parabola dimensions allowed us to decrease the diameter of the dish by over 75% and still increase its overall range by 20%. Equipped with both a laser sight and a visual target sight the parabolic dish can pinpoint the source of airborne ultrasound indoors and out.

Contact Probe with needle and cable
|
The Contact Probe is used for measurement of ultrasounds in structure borne applications. It provides consistent trending of ultrasound generated by rotating equipment (bearings, gearboxes, couplings, etc…). Its unique tri-frequency filtering allows the user to digitally tune frequencies that reveal the earliest sign of bearing fatigue and lubrication failure.

Magnetic Sensor
|
The magnetic sensor is ideal for monitoring slow speed bearings, trouble shooting hydraulics, pneumatics, steam traps, listening for electrical faults inside switch gear panels, and more. Its compact size and rugged stainless steel shell matches the longevity of all the products in the Ultrawave line up.

Conditioned base lubrication is the trend of the future that is here today. The Acoustic Grease Gun Adaptor connects your Ultrawave 170 to any grease gun allowing lube techs to acoustically re-grease bearings hands free.
