The super sensitive internal airborne sensor of the SDT170 with the precision indicator is well shielded from ambient plant noise. Ultrasonic data collectors are the tools of choice for conditioned based lubrication programs.
The 170M Lube Tech kit is specially configured with the accessories required to do the job right. Our Acoustic Grease Gun Adaptor works in combination with the Lube Sensor for repeatable condition monitoring and accurate re-greasing.
Plug in the Infrared Temperature accessory to detect rapid heat fluctuations; a sure sign of over-greased bearings.
The Lube Tech Kit bridges the gap between your grease gun and your ultrasonic data collector.

Ultrawave 170M Electrical
|
|
Electrical systems are subject to faults commonly referred to as "arcing", "tracking", and "corona". These faults can be identified either thermally, ultrasonically, or both. Ultrasonic inspections can be done from a safe distance using either the Parabolic Dish with laser sight or the EDS Extended Distance Sensor. For switchgear panels leave them closed and scan around the outer edges with the Flexible Sensor. Alternatively, using the Magnetic Sensor like a stethoscope, listen through the metal skin of the panel.
