Course Benefits

InfraRed Imaging Solutions Inc. (IRIS) offers DLI Engineering's Level 1 Certification Training. This is geared for both beginners and experienced vibration analysts who want to deepen their knowledge in this field, thus increasing personal confidence.
The course explains the basics of vibration, its uses the industry, and practical applications. Case studies will be presented from various users. A half-day, closed book exam will be given on the fourth day as one requirement for certification.
DLI's Level 1 Vibration Training - NON VENDOR SPECIFIC!
Although this course covers many of the same vibration fundamentals found in other vibration courses, it does so in the context of predictive or condition based maintenance. The fundamentals don’t change, but there are a number of different ways to implement and or understand vibration analysis technology. What makes this course special is that it approaches vibration analysis in a different way from some of the other popular courses. Over the years we have received excellent feedback even from those who have 10+ years of experience and are certified up to category IV by other organizations. Even these “experts” learned something new in DLI’s courses and have reported that the knowledge they gained would directly help them in their jobs. This is because it changed or augmented their perspective on the technology and its proper use.
DLI’s courses are practical! Where other vibration courses focuses on working out formulas for bearing tone frequencies that are readily available on the web, DLI focuses on explaining why bearings produce the vibration patterns they do and shows you how to recognize them in the spectrum.
DLI's training are non-vendor specific. In other words, it does not matter if your analyzer is from other manufacturer or if you don't have one. You will still get as much from the class as anyone else. You are welcome to bring your vibration analyzer to the class for the hands-on portion of the training. If you don't have one, there'll be a unit for your use.
THE CLASS
The class size is limited to a small number of students to maximize training effectiveness and discussions. The students are guaranteed to learn as much as their class participation. It is the goal of the Level 1 Vibration Certification Training that the student will learn how to read and interpret vibration spectrums and to be able to implement a successful vibration program in their company.
