PdM DEFINED

Predictive Maintenance (PdM) utilizes non-destructive testing methods including infrared thermography, vibration analysis, acoustic / airborne ultrasonic testing and fluid/oil analysis to evaluate the working condition of various types of equipment and systems. The ultimate goal of an IRIS PdM program is to predict the equipment’s most cost-effective maintenance schedule, before its performance is jeopardized.
